Mille Miglia May 5-8th 2010
« on: 18 February, 2010, 09:24:58 PM »
Definitely going to go this year. Can anyone please advise if the centre of Brescia is closed to all traffic, other than the competitors cars, during the build up and the departure. If possible, I would like to get my Fulvia as close to the action as possible.
Anybody else going ?
Regards
Tim

no chance. I would suggest going ahead of the cars and watching through one of the villages. We will have route info on www.retro-speed.co.uk two weeks before the event.

Possibly common knowledge but this year 150 Ferraris will be having their own event ahead of the main attraction. There is no age limit to the cars and they will compete for their own prizes, departing at one minute intervals with the first 'proper' Mille Miglia car leaving after the last Ferrari. Maybe this will detract from the main rally but as a spectator it will be an added bonus.
