I'm sure its worth doing something with but I just get tired with the sales talk of these sort of ads.I'm not a fan of concours presentation but there is no virtue in the leave it as found approach if "as found" is completely unroadworthy. An Aprilia needs good maintenance to get the best out of it in any case, as does any car in fact.I've driven in enough MOT doubtful cars to know it isn't much fun really.

the trend at the moment is to have your Bugatti Type 35 restored with built in 'patina' and the more down at heel the better.

Just for the record the Belna was withdrawn from the auction because the seller got an offer that was too good to resist and well in excess of the bid price showing at the time.
Seems to me some of you guys need to do a bit of re-calibrating regarding what you think an unrestored project is worth!
A lot of cars were being driven around in this sort of condition back in the early sixties which was when us oldies fell in love with them!
Harry would advise rolling them over onto an old matress to weld in a new floor.Start on Friday evening and back on the road by Monday morning!

my early cars also had holes in the floor but this was because I simply couldn't always afford to spend more at the time, not because I saw it as more desirable...

French Aprilia sold today for £10,531. Time will tell whether it gets restored! My guess is it will.
