Hello does anyone have knowledge of the different sizes of trackrod end ?
My 1600cc non-powered steering Trevi has 17mm size nuts on the swivel joints but the 2000cc powered steering car has 19mm size and the swivel tapers follow the size of the nuts (OK, I know its actually the other way around).
The difficulty is that when the wheel bearing fails on one, it is not simply a case of swapping the hub over from the donor car.
My query is: Is this a difference between 1600cc and 2000cc versions or a difference between PAS and Non-PAS? (or other). Both cars are first registered in 1982 but the 2000cc car has an earlier VIN.
This must apply to all Beta variants.

Many thanks Alan, its a good job that the LMC offers this forum to the "public". Otherwise your knowledge and experience would be lost to the club.

Best regards,  Leo

Leo,

It is between power, non power steering. There are often non power track rod ends on e-bay for, if I remember, around a tenner each.
