'perfect base for an easy and surely remunerative restoration'

Well, in my opinion, from the few photographs provided, that is a far from perfect base for a nightmare restoration with a faint chance of getting your money back !!!! That is unless you are a whizz at all things bodywork and mechanical and have a fair few hours available.

The thing is, few of us would start on any of our projects if the final bottom line was the be all and end all. I take my hat off to anyone brave enough to tackle it, but sincerely hope that someone soon will.

If someone on the Forum takes this on, please keep us informed of the progress of the work. I would be absolutely delighted if you are able to prove me wrong and can report a straightforward restoration.

This car, chassis B50 1467 has been on sale for about a year now, although in the latest ad the pictures are new. The asking price was 55,000euro.
As Andy says it is very unlikley to be an economic restoration, I should know I have done one myself, sorting the hood out, rechromed frame, new wooden cross members, new rear window and then the fabric, cost the price of a brand new car!!
Luckily on mine all the metal work had been done and the engine rebuilt, but it still took 2 years to finish.
