Hi All

Looks a very acceptable project, dare I say it, unlike the mountain which David has taken on......

Is there really only one left on the road (DVLA)?

Well for starters, there's one for sale at Richard Thorne  http://www.rtcc.co.uk/used-morgan-proteus-carver/lancia-flavia-vignale . Do we not have any in the Club?

Well mine is on the road - these comments from sellers really get my goat so to speak. Oh and BTW it has the wrong steering wheel!!

Seller most likely got info from howmanyleft.co.uk which says 1 on road and 1 on sorn Flavia Vignale and 1 Flavia Vignale S on sorn

I'm not saying that is correct of course!

I suspect quite a lot of the cars listed on the 'How many left' site via DVLA  are registered simply as "Lancia Flavia" but are in fact PF, Vignale or even Zagato variants.  I'll have a look at my V5C and see what they think UBY90F is.

We know for sure that Tim's and mine (seen above at Goodwood last w'end) are taxed...  How many others running in the UK can forum members identify?

BTW, I'd not heard the 45 RHD figure cited in the ebay ad before.  Is that really correct?

Well, I always (well not always Wink) wondered what happened to my old one, and here it is, we came through Malborough on the way back from the 50th, and Ann and I said was it still where I delivered it too, well there's my answer.  Shocked Shocked

I wondered who's that was at Goodwood.  Who was in the early Berlina?  Were there any other Flavias?

I checked the Berlina and it shares the same 120mph strip speedo.  I forgot to check if the rev counter was identical...

As for the ebay car at least that one is not supposed to have any strength in the roof Smiley

I didn't see any others.  Was slightly surprised; I thought more 'older siblings' of the Fulvia might show up at the birthday party.

Roger,

Are you saying that the blue Vignale now on eBay is your old car that was once the one in this photo?

Yep Colin, that's the one. I changed the gearbox as it had no 1st, still have the stripped down box in the lock up, I also had front floorpans made which I sold with the car, but there is no mention of those in the advert, Re steering wheel, that was on the car when I bought it, I had a proper one but sold it separately. Happy days (not)

Checked my reg doc - UBY90F is listed as Lancia Flavia, body type 'convertible'. No mention of Vignale.
