Anyone ever had an issue with the oil filler cap and the neck it screws onto? Topping up the oil on FSZ I noticed the metal 'top' spins with the plastic cap when I go to unscrew it and is a little loose. Should it be held in position by a 'crimping' of the edges or has a gasket failed?

Cheers

Perhaps solder it back together and also replace the "wire wool" type inner material  with a stainless steel baffle?

A stainless steel 'pan scrub' from the supermarket makes quite a good separator.  There are two types of containers - one has two perforated circular plates inside, between which the separator material is placed;  the other type is completely hollow inside.
