Hi everyone !

Last i was found some prewar photos about motorsport in Poland. Among others there was three pictures Lancia related. All of those pictures are related with Ripper family from Cracow. This family was very strong connected with cars. Wilhelm Ripper - senior - was a businessman from a motorcar branch. He own Lancia Lambda and was started with this car in Monte Carlo rally in 1928 - see photo 1. Jan Ripper - junior was a best Polish Bugatti driver, but he own too two Aprilias as seen in photo 2 (taken inJune 1939) and 3 (taken in 1938)
Best regards from Poland
Maciek

Wonderful nostalgic Maciek, great fur finished coats being worn in first pic!

Any of the cars survived over the passing decades or just the photos?

Wonderful pictures.
A question to all....
The "Aprilia" script on the grill. Was it just lussos or can any of us have one? Love it.

Thats a shame, but at least we know during the 30s Poland appreciated the finest cars made!

Those things on wings are badges of Automobilklub Polski (Automobile Club of Poland)

It's not just the coats Frank!!  Off on the Monte Carlo wearing not only collar and tie, but also spats ... brilliant. A real gentleman driver event.

I see a windscreen heater on the 2nd Aprilia pic. A pre-req for the Monte Carlo, I'd imagine.
