Emma Rawlinson from the Heritage- motor centre has given me your details as you may be able to help me find Italian cars for an event I am organising. The event is an Italian weekend (13 & 14 September) where Compton Verney art gallery are looking at the desirability and excellence of Italian art and design. There is one gallery of artworks created in Naples in the eighteenth century; Compton Verney’s mansion house was also redesigned in the classical style by Robert Adam.
The weekend celebrates the past but I have also put a contemporary spin with music and dance of the ‘Rat Pack’ era, costume and craft activities.
I would love to have Italian cars of any period as they are so iconic in style and desired by so many.
