Seen in Arezzo on a TrasAppenino rally with participating cars from Austria. A pretty car - with a coachwork plate from Carosserie Secherons Geneve. Is this the restorer? - or the maker? - the body mouldings do look different to other cabriolets. Good to see one being driven on the road!

Carrosserie Sécheron is the maker of this nice Augusta. The company was created in 1936.
That name is the successor to Carrosserie Gangloff, a swiss bodymaker that was liquidated, following an important expansion in the thirties.
One of the branches of Gangloff was in Colmar, France, and did numerous Bugattis 57.

Here is another Augusta cabriolet by Gangloff, seen a few years ago, in good company.

Hello Sebastien - I felt sure you would know! Here's the Secherons plate - very similar to the Gangloff one. I think the two colour scheme on the car works well, especially in bright sunlight.

The two tone at the top of the thread looks lovely - to my eye a lot nicer than the factory.

Not sure if those are the factory version.
The back end is considerably less heavy!

How many varieties are there?

Google just served up this one - tank under the bonnet like a saloon:

...and a set of photos of what I think of as "standard"

The first one has been for sale for a long time as I remember seeing it a few years ago on the same site....
