I think they look lovely with the hood up but odd with it piled so high when folded.

Neither sold.
Augusta bid to £15500, needs a lot of work to finish.
Flavia to £16000, came with an original boot lid and the "Hooper" trunk is apparently removable without damaging anything and the original could then be fitted.

I think that was a fair bid for it, pretty sure their only worth about £30k finished so at most in kit form its probably worth £18>19k  Huh?

All the body work on the Augusta had been done but even if the axles were ok after rebuild the motor looked rough externally and probably should be investigated and the brakes would need looking at.  All trim needs doing in leather and there is no hood which should be fully lined, there were several boxes if bits but I did not investigate whether there was any hood material as a pattern.  You could easily spend another 10 to 15k to finish it.

I thought the estimate too high at a revised £22k to £25k and so did the bidders, the problem I think is as the catalogue stated over £35k had already been spent!

It will be interesting to see what the one on Ebay is bid to looks a better prospect except the hood has not been lined and looks a little odd a the back.

Vignale up again at Silverstone May24th. IMHO it has a lot of correcting to do - not including the boot.
