Help trying to Trace an Engine from an HPE VX

Hi All,

I've been sent this :

"We are anxious to trace the history of Lancia HPE 2000 VX 1984
Registration number:   A339SUL
Body type:   3 Door Hatchback
Colour:   Red
Date of first registration:   January 1984
We have the engine that was originally fitted to the vehicle and would like to make contact with the current owner, if you have any information.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

They are trying to trace the last owner of this vehicle ( last TAX 1991 so the DVLA says ) so that the engine can go in a Stratos Replica ( and they need evidence of the age of the engine ) the engine number is 455407.

I've looked in the recent records and cars and drawn a blank but perhaps someone knows some else ? Last owner was a G Woodley.
