Justin,

Yes you are right in saying that I looked at your car before I bought mine, it is a lovely car, but just not the one for me, although I am sure you will enjoy many more happy miles in it,as it is a fine example.

I didn`t go to the AGM for the same reason as a lot of others - the weather was c..p. - Typical !

Thanks for your kind words about my car, but forgive me and my poor memory, when did you see it ?

Bob

Coming back to those Panhards, saw a very nice one at Lyon, Epoq'Auto, this week-end.
600 Kg, space for 6 people, 130 km / h.
(Reminds me of FIAT, using the selling price in Lira per Kg as a performance indicator - great way to produce fuel efficient low weight cars)
Full aluminum construction.
Quite a nice design, with clever solutions: noticed the safety related construction of the dashboard - switches in front of the steering wheel (I wonder however if the steering column was collapsible)
Notice also the nice flush door handles.

Although the styling is not to everyone's taste...

I love 'em. Lucky I only have a Fulvia sized garage otherwise I'd be broke.
