Yes and yet another post.
Hoping that someone out there might be able to advise on a new pair of headlamps? I tried Ricambio, but they didn't get back to me with an answer?!
I can get them from Italy no problem at all, BUT, would they cause an issue at night, being LHD? Or do the LHD ones adjust enough to make then UK road friendly?
Cheers all

Unless they are universal (E2?) then you may have problem at mot with continentals without beam deflectors. Uk spec have a little right arrow generally on the glass.....

Cheers Tim, I've had a good look around and don't seem to be able to find any not sure what to do now. I'm replacing them because the reflective chrome has perished inside the headlamps. I've called a few motor factors but they say that they cant get them any longer? I wonder if there's anyone out there that could repair them?

Are the reflectors metal or plastic? How is the reflective surface failing?

Oh right, wow that sounds good Frank. However, ideally I'd like a brand new pair if i can get my hands on some, or old ones that are near perfect I'll have to pop over to see you.

Not headlights this time John but I have a few new old stock Y10 parts I would consider parting with to a worthwhile project. Things like a rear light lens, column stalks etc.

There are new headlights on e-bay if you click "worldwide" for around £100. They will be left hand drive but have you considered swapping the lenses with some UK ones? With a bit of care and dedication I doubt it would be too great a challenge. I have had a lens drop off and glued it back on with grey glue gun glue.

Hi Brian, as soon as I get my act together I'll get in touch to come and look at your sign.
Good advice about the headlights Frank, I didn't know it was just the lenses that bent the light I the right direction I thught it was also the position of the reflectors inside the lamp?

John they are just a straight reflector, I had the same problem with one of the headlamp lens when I put the brakes on one day and the glass fell out, unlike Frank mine smashed, but I took the glass off of one of my stock of headlamps that had a rusty reflector, and replaced it as Frank suggests. As I said if you come up to see Frank it's not far from me. Brian 8227

It must be something that Carrello got wrong in their production processes as my 1989 prisma was bought with one fog light glass on the passenger seat and one head light glass very loose. I took all healight glasses out and the fog lights as well and reset them with some grey high modulus silicone. I guess the sealant they used deteriorated over time. It wasnt difficult to remove the glasses and i gives an opportunity to give the reflectors a polish
