Family battle over £2m car collection
« on: 24 February, 2015, 04:52:34 PM »
In The Times today:

A classic car collector has taken his son to court, insisting that he return four vehicles worth a total of £2.2 million. Ernst Hrabalek, who lives in Vienna and Thailand, lent the Lancia Stratos rally cars to his son, Christian, 37, of Belsize Park, north London, who says they were a graduation gift. The High Court was told Ernst Hrabalek lent the vehicles to his son, a car designer, to exhibit them at a Berlin show in 2011. The hearing continues.

For most parents its the reverse problem of being left to store stuff.

speaking as a parent and a son , Josh happily dumps his "crap" everywhere , I also find that things of mine often go "astray" , however he is at that age where his hair has to be perfect and he always smells nice even though going for a shower is like some sort of punishment to him , this in one way saves me running out of deodorant and if on a rare occasion I do my hair there is always products available , living close to my parents is handy too , I often find myself storing things at their house and "forgetting about it" unless its Lancia related I do get reminded "when are you gonna shift this......" however Lancia's or parts of have their own visa and are granted permission to stay  ;D
