More from alan cooper, Face book note said Lancia were given the design of the Uno but didn't do a very good job so the project was given to Fiat instead, these are supposedly the Lancia Designs.

I have never seen those before Brian.
Looks rather like a cross between a Y10 and an R5 and not at all unpleasing!!

I always though that like the X 1/9 and Montecarlo the Uno and Y10 were a joint competing project. As with the sports cars Fiat thought the Uno was the best option, but the Y10 was too good to throw away, passing it to Lancia/Autobiachi?

I thought at first that the front end was reminiscent of the series 1 Thema 2 door, but after the you 10 comments I can certainly see a similarity to Y10 and possibly Dedra with Head lamps and indicators.
Amazing where these things turn up, I'm not a Facebook user but Alan sends me many great photos off there.
I think the last photo definitely looks a bit Uno'ish from the side.
Just wish I could read the name on the back, but it's a too poor quality photo to make it out.
