I know that early Flavias sit high at the back, can I reduce the height by removing a leaf or two. At the moment it’s one inch to low at the front (probably just aging front spring) and three inches to high at the back. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

In the past I have added a leaf, but upside down to flatten the spring. The spring seemed to retain strength, and the ride height was altered. (Fulvia)

have you undone all the silent block nuts (including shocks and cross bar) and weighed down the boot till the bump top to top of spring is 80mm? Then locked everything up ....

Hi Tim, probably not as I paid to have the rear bushes etc changed. Will check this out. Can we also remove a spring leaf?

I would look at setting the rear suspension first, and then replacing the front spring!!!! I would not recommend taking a leaf out.

Changing a front spring sounds very complicated. Will play with rear end first.

I wouldn't mess with the number of leaves in the rear spring! Have you checked whether the front rubber buffers under the spring extremities have collapsed? Replacing these will raise the front of the car significantly.
