For those in the south midlands a great event to drive to is - Bicester Heritage Centre's Sunday Scramble 'Drive it Day' which is a public event.
The specialist businesses of Bicester Heritage will be open to the public, which is a fantastic opportunity to see inside their workshops, showrooms and buildings and catch a glimpse of their latest projects, restorations and stock. Find Out More - bicesterheritage.co.uk/events/
£4 for those in cars pre 1990 and £6 for those in more modern machines.
The Montecarlo Boys will be there so come along and join them.

I've created a calendar event for Drive It Day on the club database , if you're out and about on Sunday and get a picture of your car , you and upload it into the event on the database www.lanciadb.co.uk and it'll appear on the club website ( later at the NEC show in November ) - or email me the picture and I can do it ( say where it is please ) - database.admin@lanciamc.co.uk

A good selection of Lancias at Bicester Heritage today, Lambda, Ardea Furgoncino (with Fulvia Engine) Aurelia B12
and B20 Outlaw by Thornley Kelham, a couple of Flaminia Tourings, several Fulvias, a Flavia 815 Sedan (en-route to Flavia Consortium meet) a Stratos replica, and some Integrales, one with what has got to be the best registration number!

I visited the Dehaviland Museum to combine my interest in Mosquitos and Lancias. It's a great little museum literally just off the M25 one junction west of South Mimms services.

Jay, I didn't see the Montecarlos, although I did see your Flaminia. The Outlaw Aurelia was in one of the buildings near the main gate, perhaps a bit off the main thoroughfare, but I did know where to find it!  Wink

Yeah, you can see me leave at 6:30 on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwStSEwgyEI ( you're a few minutes later Rich )

I thought my car had serious problems about 10 seconds later and I heard all sorts of banging - but it was the fiesta behind me that had caught me at the next roundabout.

Ade,

Do you have more info on the Ardea Furgoncino "Outlaw" with Fulvia engine?
Sounds interesting! Is it now front wheel drive, or how is the engine mated to the Ardea RWD transmission?
Was it built by Thornley Kelham?

Should be performing nicely!

(Maybe there should be a separate post in the Ardea subforum?)

I'm impressed they got that Fulvia engine in.  Its just the inlet manifold that lets it down.

Before the "Fulvia 2C" there was....

...so I looked on wiki and it was "Berlina" with a single carb type 818.000/001.  Anyone got an under bonnet shot of that?
