Hello
I am having trouble starting my Lancia,when i turn the ignition key the car turns over however the ignition and choke lights are not on!
Is their a relay that could be at fault? If so where is it located? and is their a model number for this?
Any help would be appreciated!

No relay. Seems you may have a few wiring faults and also fuel/ignition problems. Get a owners handbook/concise manual and study the wiring diagram for the HF.

Hi Stu
I have the same problem sometimes - the Red Charging Light goes out along with the Choke Light.
The engine turns over however will not fire.
Very odd

Hello Simon,
I did fit a new ignition and Lancia was starting with no problems last year, been in garage for winter and had a few drives out during good weather
however recently having this problem!

Fulvia fuses and fuse boxes are notorious. The corrosion between the wire and the terminal is part of the problem, not just the contact between fuse and post. Some people solder the wires to the posts but it needs a big soldering iron. I eliminated the problem in the Aprilia by soldering fuse wire across the posts instead of removable fuses (with some spare conventional fuses in the glove box case) but the Aprilia has only 5 fuses!

Only just noticed this thread, and hope you have solved your problem. I had a similar problem coming back from classic le mans; the engine would turn over but no ignition or choke lights on. The problem was due to mucky contacts in the ignition switch. The immediate 'get you home' solution was to hotwire the ignition. I have since stripped and cleaned the contacts within the ignition switch and now everything works well.

Just to update, the problem was the ignition lock, I bought a new one and plugged it in both problem cars and perfect!
