Posh Paris photo shoot for a Fulvia

The colours made me think "late Fulvia" - black round the grill and tail and the mirror, so a surprise to see the four speed gear change.  Maybe its the wheels that made me think "late".

The translation has "rare vinyl opening lounge" - I look and think "Webasto" but were there others at that time?

In the sidebar another that jumps out as "early" so can play "spot the difference".  The red one has the early type steering wheel and bonnet trim, but being photographed from so low the bonnet trim gets lost.  Headrests on the seats.

Yes, mirrors are awful that far forward. I always think they shouldn't be further forward than the centre line of the wheels. Dash script is odd. I'm sure mine is three dimensional.  That one looks laser cut. Must admit that black rear panel looks quite smart to me. I don't think it was standard on any series was it?

Dash script is probably laser cut, Fays rear panel script had corroded away and friend with the same problem on his 2c got two laser cut scripts from Turin, probably stainless steel and a lot more durable than the original.
Back in 2004 they were also available from the shop in the Biscaretti Museum.
I agree on where to position the mirror, I made the mistake of putting mine a little closer to the windscreen, and with the type of mirrors fitted the nearside one is barely usuable
I do wish these companies hen they translate into English would get an English person to check the work, there's some awful translation in the blurb.

Strange, Brian, when I mentioned the dash script I would have bet money that  mine had a central ridge giving it a triangular profile. When I was out the other day I looked at it and mine is flat as well. In my head I must have been getting mixed up with the old classic style like Zodiac and Consul badges. (Probably turns out they're flat as well).

I've just made some wheels for "a victorian street cart" and they look dished, but are flat.  The spokes have a taper which fools the eye.  Not intended but not a bad thing either.
