Fulvia fuel cover

Has anyone changed out the fuel filler cover on a Fulvia HF. I had to cut mine due to a broken lock and was wondering if it is possible to take the 5mm vertical pin out and replace the cover. Looks almost impossible to me

It can be done, there is vertical pin and from memory a spring there too, many fits between the two horizontal 'runners' there are one or two rubber grommets you can get from inside the boot to remove the pin, a good torch or headlight is required.
