If it has to come apart it might as well get cleaned and refurbished. That way the car just gets better and better. I was sad not to be able to make it to the AGM.

yes, they can. In fact it's easier to do them with the car on its wheels as it all aligns up better, the bushes have a split in them so can be folded over the roll bar. Be sure to use plenty of red rubber grease to ensure they last.. |

Thankfully the little Y10 now has an mot, new horns fitted so it has a nice high / low tone than just makes the right sound.
When I gave it a wash though the water was running on the inside of the hatch glass...
The sealant at the top edge was somewhat lacking, the glass could be flexed away from the hatch!

Pulled out the outer seal and filled with bonder, it'll be OK until the refurb is done, it'll stop water getting in but also stop the glass falling out down the road!
With that done I gave it a polish, chuffed with how it came up, not perfect but perfectly presentable.

It has some rust around the sunroof opening that I'm sure will be a challenge to weld up but I'll worry about that another day..

I felt the carpet rather let the rest of the car down. Lancia's tufted carpet of this era was cheap and nasty in my opinion and the light grey shows marks dreadfully. I much prefer the black more felted carpet in the lesser versions. It sets off the lighter coloured seats nicely and doesn't show marks.

I've not done anything more than a damp cloth on the alcantara bits, carpets got scrubbed with some simoniz foaming carpet cleaner that I got given.
The black plastics got a scrub or two with good old Mr sheen!
For the windows I don't waste money on fancy expensive glass cleaner. Often just use neat screenwash on a cloth but I recently treat myself to a large spray bottle of window cleaner from The Range shop, best £1 I've spent in a while
