The flash has fired and recorded the car, but the car is still moving forwards with the shutter still open, recording the lights. A faster shutter speed would cut down the amount the lights show.

Via Flaminia Rally 2012. By luck the lower capacity of our 1600 Sport was enough to win the event (we were level on points with a Citroen DS team from Holland so this was the decider).

I bought the Augusta to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales and had the first real run today to the top of Wharfedale and over to Hawes as a trial for the Beamish Run in June. Here we are above Oughtershaw with Ingleborough in the distance. Glad to report it ran perfectly. I've now done 250 miles since it arrived and it is just as I hoped - a jolly nice car.
It is not particularly fast up hills but the gear ratios are well chosen and with such a nice crash gearbox who needs synchromesh! Cornering and brakes means there is no question of holding up traffic on country roads.

Photo from the Terence Challenger (lsdiff) restoration blog. Since that photo was taken the shell has been blasted and looks to be a good one. Off to a flying start. Having said that the reason I posted the photo is for the subframe and power unit below, such a lovely piece of design in so many regards. https://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10272

You're right, David. I don't think I've ever seen a Fulvia engine/ gearbox in the back of a formula junior single seater of the period but they would seem a good tunable choice. The 1600 was in the Stratos Zero after all.

Formula junior was over before the Fulvia? Reading the wiki it sounds like the engines had to be push rod. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_Junior
