I have been contacted by a non-member who is looking to clear a garage he wants to pull down and has a 1971 blue Sport in bits with paper work. It has been like that for some time and although I have not seen it I guess it will need quite a bit of work to put together. Currently off wheels and subframe but the seller will help shift it out. On Essex coast.

If interested contact me for details.

Peter Chittenden and I visited this car today. After a lot of debate it seems that it is probably to far gone on the nearside and elswhere to be anything other than a parts car. It does have a V5 and chassis plate intact. It is a late S1 1.3S with oil cooler (removed as with virtually all chassis components scattered around or stored in corners of this leaky garage). As a parts car it would yeild a lot of useful S1 Sport/ generic Fulvia bits.

The shell is off wheels so would need to be dragged out. Access to a recovery truck is possible. The seller Darrell is realistic as to its minimal value but as a classic car enthusiast (non - Lancia) does not want to see it scrapped.

What a shame! I wonder how bad the car was when it entered the garage?
