14. Jack. The sketch shows a Battaini jack like the one shown below. If I had one of these I would be considering selling it because it is apparently common with some very exotic machinery like a Ferrari Daytona if the parts suppliers ads are to be believed. Neil’s suggestion that that particular style of Jack was replaced for later series of Fulvia by the second one, which is Neil’s own. 15. Feeler gauge or Tappet probe as google translate tells me. I can’t find a photo of a Lancia Feeler gauge and even I’m not nerdy enough to worry about having one. Thanks for everyone’s input. Tom
Am I allowed to quote myself? Let’s hope this temperamental system allows it. Anyway on the Jack I’ve been looking online again and once my eyes stopped watering at the asking prices I found that the jack with the large flat top like in the sketch, has the matching part number from the parts list, which is 2187393.

My last post on this topic for tonight. So there is a bit of additional info in the parts list that Neil provided.
We have already heard that the feeler gauge and tappet key were optional...it seems for all models and I’ve already mentioned about the different tool boxes and the two different part numbers for the tappet key.
It also looks like there is a bag for the jack which it sort of indicates is for the Sport only. I guess that might make sense given that the Sport models don’t have a normal boot like the Berlina or Coupe.
Also it states that the ‘complete’ tool set withe the requisite box consists of items 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,&13. Of course all cars would get a jack as well. However the ‘complete’ set was different for the Berlina (part 1890638) coupe and Sport (1890730) and HF (1891561). Obviously the Berlina was different on account of the tool box shape but no more indication on why the HF tool box differed. No additional parts anyway. The only other point to mention is that the tommy bar, the screwdrivers and the 4 spanners and the pliers were apparently available to be purchased from the market or I guess the parts department of the dealer. See sub note A on the list. Not sure what that meant because they were included in the complete set. Maybe everything else was not available as a separate part across the counter but that doesn’t make much sense.
Anyway that’s all for now folks
Tom

So hear goes. 1. Tommy bar. I have a couple of photos showing that. Not pointed which it is in the diagram. See first photo below.
2. Tool box. I have a few photos of this as typical example shown below.
Looks like a bycycle spanner in 2nd photo? Brian 8227

Morning guys well this subject still has legs. I wanted to share with you a few other items. Firstly Vince sent me a photo of his tool set. See attached. This is in great condition. Even better is the jack in Vince’s GTE. Note the pointed tommy bar as in the sketch. Does this mean the other tommy bars are not correct. Probably means only the Series 1 cars had the pointed tommy bar.
On another matter I’m guessing one of us bought that 10mm tappet key from Italy. I know it was sold because I got offered a reduced price of €30 from the vendor on eBay but I was too late. So own up!

Another couple of points from me on the Battaini jacks. I’ve now bought a couple that were for sale on eBay by the same vendor selling the tappet key. Saved a bit by getting an offer accepted and also combining postage costs. That’s what made me rethink on the tappet key as I wouldn’t have had to pay postage on top but no matter. One of the jacks is the actual one with photos above, so the series 1 style, and the other is as shown below which I’m now assuming is a series 2 jack...I bought it as much for the wrench as the jack itself so in future I may sell the jack on. Note the wheel bolt socket is missing the plastic disc which is a pain. And one last piece of info is that if you have a Battaini jack and want to tart it up then the stickers are available. Probably reproductions but look ok and cheap...even if you have a Daytona.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323914630976Tom

Can anybody kindly help with providing a list and a photograph of the tools that would have supplied with my late-ish Series 3 car chassis number 818 631 079722?
Many thanks.

This is snapshot of a Fulvia3 handbook that lists the items, however the feeler gauges may be not present or optional

Back in the day I had a brand new Fulvia 3 from Tony Brooks Ltd, Weybridge and I am certain there wasn't a valve clearance tool or feelers in the toolkit. Chris

Thank you for your responses, but what I have is different from what's been shown - see attached pic.
The tools across the top are a rubber lined plug spanner with an articulated head which is driven by the long tube next to it and the tommy bar. Another example is the 17 spanner which is coupled with 13 and not 19. All the tools are brightly finished in what I take to be a trad cadmium plating.
Any further thoughts anybody?

I have a spare pair of pliers that I could be persuaded to part with for a decent offer. These are now spoken for They are not as gold as in the photo, but the correct grey Fulvia colour

You have possibly some Beta tools in that array of tools.

Yes all the ‘golden’ cadmium plated tools are certainly from a Beta and so is the reversible screwdriver with the plastic handle. The early Beta tool kits had a wooden handled reversible screwdriver. Martin I’m afraid only your ratchet is an original Fulvia part....and so is the separate pliers in the photo by SP. (sorry don’t know your real name.
Martin if you want to sell your ratchet it would look great in one of my cars...lol..what jack do you have?

Sorry confused post. I meant the pliers shown separately are from a Beta tool kit.
See very nice (in fact boxed and unused) Beta tool set below.

Thank you Neil & TSB GTE. I was beginning to suspect that the majority of the tools did not belong to the car.
But I do have the Battaini jack so the ratchet handle does have its partner.
