Never fear, it gives you a new quest in life like me. 😁 Do you have the plastic box?
Which version of the jack do you have? With the large top or the small top? (Very technical).

Hello Tom,

The small top and I've just given it a 5000 mile service and all is well.

I've gone mad and blown £3.50 on 6 Battaini labels, as was suggested in this Forum, because mine is absent leaving a sticky mess of just the right size in the right place.

Lockdown does bring forward stuff that one might never have got round to!

Yes those labels are the cheapest thing you will find on eBay related to a Lancia. I came across those on some eBay shop after searching for Battaini and after viewing jacks at over €1,000...
Yes it seems you have the correct jack for a later car and the wrench to go with it. So that’s a blessing. I’m not sure if your wheel nut/bolt socket is original, maybe too long and doesn’t have the disc, but it’s the right thing for the ratchet and good for the job. All you need to do is find the rest of the kit.

Sorry gents I'm getting confused with all the talk of what tools go with which series of Fulvia.
Can which just clarify which jack is which, is the Battaini jack the one with the short pad, or the long one with the lip?
To be honest I'm just glad to have been able to put together a tool kit and jack, from whatever series, as I had no tools whatsoever when I found her.

Ah yes sorry Brian it is confusing. Both types of Jack that we’ve been discussing are made by Battaini. So we think that the one with the long top or lip as you say is for a series 1 Fulvia because it looks like the one in the sketch and that is what Vince has for his GTE, and by definition all GTEs are late model series 1 Berlinas.
The one with the short top seems to be more associated with later cars so it seems to be a reasonable assumption that series 2 and 3 Fulvias have that as original. I guess we can’t assume that as gospel though but it seems to fit.

Just to add a bit more confusion, Betas came with 2 types of tool kits. The most common was the rigid plastic one shown in one of the posts above and a different jack but the Spyder came with the same ‘bag’ as the Fulvia ones shown above also and had most of the tools shown in the diagram also in a recent post. It also came with the same jack as above.

Thanks for that, so it looks like I have the wrong jack, which isn't surprising.
I'll have a look in the series 1 workshop manual as I think I might have seen a picture of a jack being used.

The last few GTEs were sold in late 69 and early 70 alongside with the S2 4-speed berlinas. Difficult to say what kind of tool kit they had, Andrea

What would be good to see is if more Series 1 cars had the long too Battaini jack..particularly Series 1 Coupes and Sports. I don’t imagine though that we will ever nail this as a definite rule.

Last night I spotted an inconsistency between the tool kit sketch and the parts list that we’ve been referring to here.
The sketch has parts 15 and 16, whereas the list stops at 15. In the list, part 15 is the jack, but on the sketch the jack is part 16. Sorry I missed that before.
And on the sketch, part 15 which we don’t have a description or name for looks like this.
What I believe it to be is a folding wheel chock which I’m sure I’ve seen for other car models. I’ll try and find a photo.
