Original email -
I no longer have a Lancia, my Beta Volumex having been slowly eaten by the rust bug.
The reason I am writing is that I have a bolt of original Recaro houndstooth cloth that was bought in order to recover my seats some time. I've had the cloth 15 years+ and its been kept rolled in my airing cupboard so it's still perfect. I wanted to place an advert on the forum rather than putting it on eBay .
Would it be possible to place this ad not being a member? I'm sure it would be of interest to someone and I very much doubt this material is still made today.
The bolt of cloth is 3m x 1.45m.

The Coupe had Ricaros as standard in the UK, so different from the HPE.

Indeed this is coupé cloth, the HPE had the same pattern but goldish indeed. (later also used in the first delta HF turbo's if I'm not mistaken)
Still have some recaro seats to be covered, but sold my Volumex coupé (still regret that....is was a terrific drivers car)

I have had my XV Coupe for 33 years & I can assure you that is not the correct colour for the Coupe which is a blue/grey tint. The grey was the HPE version.

As above, all UK supplied VX Coupes had Rikaros as does Peter's. It looks like HPE/ie cloth to me too. |

I am absolutely certain that the material for the coupe is blue grey. Years ago I bought the rear seats from a VX coupe that was being scrapped to use the material for repairs, I bought a front seat from Mark (Betaboys) to replace one that was badly worn in my car. Also years ago Omicron acquired the last length of that material which was then bought by Peter Dicks who would not sell me any of it.
