Coolant Hoses

Did the coolant hoses change length from the S1 to the S2?
I ordered new top and bottom rad hoses for my S1 and both of them are longer than the ones on the car currently. The bottom one is especially longer, by about 10cm. Am I suppose to cut them to fit? I haven't heard back from the supplier but they sell the same hoses for all models of the Fulvia. I can post pictures if that helps.

You have to generally trim them. Just a little..... or they will be too short. Are they silicon? If so use a very sharp blade and dont go off line

Here is a picture of the lower hose. It has the correct bend but is considerably longer than mine. Or maybe something is wonky on my car?

If the bend is correct, just carefully cut off the excess as Tim suggested.

New one does not look right to me ,when placed alongside the one fitted to the car, it looks like the new hose does not run straight as it should do, it looks like it's veering off, so when cut and fitted may end up with a kink in it.
