I've rescued a fair few of these over the years. This one has been off the road since 86 so i reckon it will need, belts, exhaust, tyres, brakes, tank removal and drain to get it ready to start.
Also, if it hasn't really been run then I imagine a bottom end rebuild will not be far round the corner once you start using it. Plus of course, at 58k miles, the camshaft lobes are shot already.
I Love them, but have at least £3k  spare to get it road worthy and then £5k for the engine rebuild should the worst happen.
Oh, and that roof will be rotten- that's an odd place to rot and I've only seen it once and the car was not save-able in the end.
Still tempted though....what cars they are.... Smiley

The Beta is a twin to my car, but minus the holes in the driver's seat that mine has.   It needs an extensive recommissioning and a bodywork repair.

It looks too good and also too expensive for me to buy as a spares car.
