Has anyone sourced a suitable harness and brass terminal tags to replace the original Aprilia fuel level indicator wiring harness?
My gauge and tank unit seem OK (well, repairable), but the wiring is tragic and certainly needs replacing. I can make one up easily enough, but a pointer to a suitable multicore cable would be helpful.

Hi Tony, I used a multi core wire from a computer supplier and then bound it myself with loom tape. I am re-using the brass eyes having un-soldered them from the old unit

Tony, Winston Teague and David Aston rewired my car, and they sourced a new multi-core cable for the petrol tank sender from somewhere. It would be worth asking them, if you have not found a source yet. You should be able to reach them at vehiclewiring@googlemail.com or 07971415277. Peter
