Does anyone here knows the exact size for a rebore of the main bearing caps in a B12 block?  Many thanks!

I don't know if this helps but that engine used Vandervell VP 464 and VP 466 big end and main bearings (can't recall which is which) but that might give you bearing shell outside diameters.

If it helps I noted Brian said Mains were VP447 in an earlier posted. There were 2 undersizes of main bearing journal 1st undersize 59.713-59.726mm, 2nd undersize 59.459-59.472 from Paul Mayo workshop manual. Shell bearings as Brian said.

I think the matter is adressed, Cavalitto (who supplied the shells) provided the info to the engine man.  I asked for the same, but although I'm the one paying the bills untill now heard nothing....will be settled with the next bill (not!!!!) and then I'll inform you all!
