Morning all, I recently had my S2 1.3s MOT'd the garage was surprised to see one so dry (Rust free) which was nice however I have an advisory of play in the right hand front wheel bearing. I know you need a special tool to remove the bearing but the garage thought they may be adjustable.
My question is are they, or is it new wheel bearing time ?

Cheers.

Unfortunately the wheel bearings are not adjustable and have to be tightened very strongly to 200 fl.ft. It is necessary to have 2 special tools to remove the outer hub nut and the inner bearing retainer, I guess the Club may hire them out. Andrea

Andrea is right. The club does have the tools for hire. Email me (back of VL) for more info.

I would strongly recommend  dealing with the repair as a worn bearing can quickly wear our the stub axle and finding a replacement is almost impossible.
