Hi all, I'm a new member. Just acquired a Fulvia Sport 1600, it's a project I'm doing with my brother. As you all know there is a lot to do with these cars, the mechanicals seem good but cosmetically it's got a lot to do. I expect we will need a lot of bits and pieces for it and might be in here looking for advice and sympathy.

Have a good evening

That's great thanks David. I'm near Halifax but my brother has the car and he's near Cambridge.

There are a million little jobs to do on it so if I can pick your brains that would be good. I'll put a pic up when I figure out how to do it

Ok that looks straightforward so I’ll give it a go

Even from the outside we have issues like what is that colour? It’s a 72 car, my best guess is Argento Smalto but I can’t find the factory colour ref. We might paint it a different colour if we can’t stack that silver up as original.

The wheels are ugly they have a whitish coloured powder on them so they need to go back to original.

The black fur fabric is completely shot so I think we will have to go vinyl or leather. All the trim is battered so we will be fixing or replacing it etc etc I know you fellows have been through it all. On the bright side my brother had it out for a blast at the weekend and it runs very well and the gears are perfect

Belay that the files are too big so I’ll try again!

Re Paint colours for an S2 Sport the only silver is Argento Nevada, and the only light metallic grey is Grigio Escoli. It could be the former looking at the photo.

The wheels are magnesium so a specialist treatment to remove the paint and repair any cracks. Correct colour is Argento Nevada! with an off gloss finish.

Thanks Tim
That’s a colour I can get if we stay with it

My nephew, Ned Ackley, has just re-done all my seating in leather.   A couple of items were still in good condition so he merely restored the leather with magic juices.  I cannot tell the difference!   He is in Carlisle, can give you an accurate quote and even use my things as a pattern and send them to you - I am sure they would fit.  It is certainly worth using leather rather than leathercloth as most of the cost is in the work.
