Is there any deadline for paying for the track day?

No deadline as such, but when all the places are all fully booked would be the end of the bookings with a possible standby list in case of any drop outs.

I also read in VL that the event is going to be opened up to other clubs from 15th May (today) which will probably mean that spaces start to fill up quite quickly from now.

Just to let you all know that as of today we have one each of an all day, morning and afternoon sessions left.
