Naive question by a new, and proud, Series 3 Fulvia owner. Would Cromodora wheels, 14 by 6 with 23 offset foul the wheel arches? Would the tyre size affect this? Thanks for any help and advice.
Am I correct in assuming that Cromodora wheels for a Beta with 32 offset would be unsuitable for a Fulvia?

Unless you  have flared wheel arches (like a montecarlo body fulvia) those Cromodoras will foul. Fulvia bolt spacing (PCD) is different from Beta and later Lancias. The 5.5x14  Cromodora fitted  to the 2000HF will fit but they are rare and not remanufactured.

On a standard S2 coupe the 14x6J Cromodora alloys will fit without problems (see picture) as long as the tyre size is 165x14 and the suspensions in good order. Andrea

There are many suppliers of replica Cromodora CD28 wheels which are 14x6J with an offset of 23 and a pcd of 4x130. The centre bore for S2/S3 is 70.1mm and the S1 is 84.1mm.
As Nistri says, they do fit - see picture.

I will agree they will fit especially if lower profile tyres are selected, but if the car is loaded for touring or rallying, high or low speed (full) compression of the rear suspension will cause the tyres to rub on the rear arches. There have been may posts over the years on this subject.

No problems during very long (over 2000 km) trips across Europe with my wife having filled the boot to full capacity... Shocked, Andrea

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Slightly worried that the vendor of replicas on EBay has informed me that the wheels that are sent to the UK are not licensed in Italy for road use.

Very strange. Try https://impresapiu.subito.it/shops/6797-davide-tassi-cerchi-auto-d-epoca. Reliable and with ample stock. He may not be very familiar with English though. Andrea

I have a set of four 5 1/2" x 14" original Cromadora rims from a 2000HF for sale .  They all need restoration having the almost inevitable pitting around the centre cap and where weights were fitted . .  I also have a set of 4 very good 6" x 13" original Fanalone Cromadoras which only need painting.
Please email me  "derek@uwood.co.uk "  for more photos or details . Photo of the 2000HF rims on my S1 Sport .

Please note that both of these are magnesium and not alloy like the reproductions .

Didn't want to start a new thread as I just have a question about the Cromodoras.  Some sites offer either glossy finish or matt finish (thinking silver).  Were the originals shiny or matt?  Thanks.

Without wishing to appear pedantic , I would describe the original finish as Satin rather than Matt.

Thank you for the quick reply.  Definitely not glossy.
