A brief history of Festa

Festa is a celebration of all things Italian.  We have had 3 previous events, 2018, 2019 & 2021.  Although the brainchild of Bruno Buccelli (cc'd), we handed over the actual running of the event to Lancaster Business Improvement District (LBID).  After last years low-key version, we decided to take over the running of Festa ourselves and now LBID are simply a sponsor.

As we are now the sole organisers of Festa, we have expanded the Event in several ways.  The main day of the Event is to include the use of Lancaster Castle and we have applied for road closures to allow a designated area for Lancia, FIAT, Abarth and Alfa Romeo vehicles to be parked and displayed in front of Lancaster Castle (free parking).  In Lancaster Castle will be entertainment, stalls as well as the 'Bambino Zone'.  We are just about to release the official programme of Events which we will post on the fb page 'lancaster festa italia'.

It would be lovely to have you and your Members join us.  This years event will take place on Sunday 29th May from 11am.  Ferrari and Ducati owners clubs usually arrive at 12.00 and 12.30pm respectively on Church Street, and it would be lovely to arrange for your Members to arrive at a prearranged time on Castle Hill, so that the attendees can watch you drive in and park up.

Please feel free to contact me either by email or phone (0777 401 1728).
