Been using the camioncino all week, collecting bits and pieces from the vineyard supplies shop, irrigation pipes and tools, shopping etc etc.

Overall very nice, especially since I had another go at the wheel balancing .... one of the front wheels is really not very round so I think that I'll swap it for the spare

It's not quick, about 85 kph flat out (so 5th gear is useful) and very slow uphill because anything remotely steep is 3rd gear !

One thing that I will need to do at some point is take all the suspension to pieces - front and back - because it is not supple enough. I don't expect it to be like my Renault 4 van, but it is a bit too rigid

At the front, the sliding pillars have been drained and refilled with fresh oil and I have backed the dampers right off so that I can get a bit more softness and hopefully more movement there

At the rear, I have sprayed with WD40 to start with and next,  the chap at the vineyard supplies has agreed to put a 500kg "BigBag" of fertiliser in the back , then I can drive around a couple of bumpy back roads and see if that gets it moving a bit more before he lifts it out again

Either way, next winter's job is to strip and grease everything

Another vineyard photo, this time our Syrah and Assyrtiko vines where I have just been installing irrigation - watering is allowed for young vines and during periods of severe drought - we don't have it everywhere though

David, they are local newspapers that cover births , marriages and local events - rarely any international news. We occasionally get interviewed for it (for wines / winery etc), so you can see that it's not too high brow !

The yellow (orange) bulbs are still legal here, but are rarely seen - I do like them, however I rarely drive at night and if I do it is at 30mph !

Photo taken today with the Ardea outside , and the Appia inside the winery. There was a "fêtes de village" and we hosted a photo club and did some tastings. The cars always create some interest, especially with the Amilcar tucked away at the back

Thanks Gents - but here is an even better photo that came up on Facebook from one of the proper photographers on the day ...

Only 10 years apart - the Appia looks almost "modern" !
