Noel is closing down his Aprilia site
« on: 31 May, 2022, 03:56:11 PM »
I would say this is one of the best Aprilia reference sites out there sadly closing down next month.  So download what you can, https://www.narrywoolan.com.au/

Would there be interest in making a small book of this information?
Also are there stocks of the 'dirty hands' book locally?

yes v sad to see the site go.... from a technical point of view for those with Macs if you right click on a webpage you can select to save the webpage as a web archive, this keeps all the pages functionality and stores it on your own machine...using this method i saved all pages from Noels brilliant site in about 15 mins...

David,
thank you for the tip. You mention that to save the web archive pages took you fifteen minutes. I have saved the home page, and it seems that all the links work from there to the other pages. This took me about two minutes. Is there possibly some step that I am missing out?

Cesare, check that these other pages are local and not linking to website, you can do this by looking at the URL. If it shows the folder where you have saved it in, then it’s local. If it says https://www.narrywoolan.com.au/ then you are just linking to the old website and you will need to download/save it. Not forgetting the blog.

Thank you very much for the awarding.
It’s a great source of information, and I’ve downloaded everything, although it took some time!
Grateful thanks to Noel for his efforts on behalf of all Aprilia owners.
