Hi all
Anyone know of a source for a front screen rubber and the silver finishing trim?

Is it an old style rubber seal, the type that you fit with string? Rather than a bonded in one?
The 2 Y10's I had recently were both bonded in type and neither had a chrome/plastic type insert.
When I had a new 'screen fitted in the resto one though Autoglass brought a new seal with it themselves, so maybe worth asking a local windscreen supplier.
If it is the bonded type though (no insert) I do have a new old stock seal although like most old stock rubber items it's gone hard with age and will need softening up before being used, so the Autoglass guy just used the one he brought rather than use mine.

That is very useful information Kev, thanks a lot. The seal looks like the old string jobby.

I replaced the bonded rear screen on my Y10 gtie with a rubber surround seal, no problems.
