Here we go again, we've only just finished putting Retro Rides Gathering to bed for the year, and we're already on to 2023.
Tickets for both Weekender and Gathering will be available from Monday 31st October. Read on for more details
Retro Rides Weekender 2023
20th and 21st May 2023 we return to the fabulous Goodwood Circuit for another laid back weekend of awesome cars, track action, special displays, good food and good times. We can reveal two of our paddocks for this year already.
After the success of The Red Room last year, we're running with the theme and going for The White Room this year, so if you've got a white pre-2000 car and fancy being part of that, the application details will be available in January.
The other paddock we can reveal is Aircooled. Whilst VW and Porsche dominate most aircooled thought there is a vast array of cars from Corvairs, Tatras, Simcas, Citroens, Hondas and more that we're aiming to bring to this paddock. Again application will be available in January.
Also opening up in January will be our Deadline display applications - so if you're building something new let us know early! We're taking some lessons from last year and moving this display to make more of it this year. In fact we're doing a bunch of things differently based on learnings from last year.
We're very aware money is tight for a lot of us right now, so there will be a pre-sale ticket at last year's price of £49, available until 31st January 2023. This will then rise to the Early Bird price of £54 and will run until 20th April where it will rise to the standard price of £59. We are making every effort to keep entry prices as low as we can whilst still delivering more and better shows in 2023. We hope you join us.
Day tickets will also be available for £15 on pre-sale, £17.50 for early bird and £20 at standard rate from 21st April.
Our Tickets this year are in three phases, Pre-sale (from now until 31st January), Early Bird (from 1st February until a month before either event) and then Standard for the last month until the event.

We have a hard limit on the number of camping tickets this year and will not be doing any additional ticket releases. We are also offering the £10 extra night on the Sunday, again these have a limit on them, as usual we will share when we hit various thresholds on ticket sales.
As well as getting a ticket to the awesome Retro Rides Weekender, anyone buying during the pre sale will get the chance to win one of twenty five Weekender keyrings. There will only by twenty five of them made, so you can be the envy of the world if you win.

Gathering will also have a limit on camping availability, now we know better how the site works, there will be extra facilities available and it will of course be track side for maximum weekend enjoyment.

For Weekender applications, Paddock displays, Deadline line up, Retro Parking and all the good stuff will open up on 1st February. With track applications opening up on 21st April.
Gathering club display booking will open up later in the year and we'll email when that is going to happen.
Once again a massive thank you from us to everyone that comes to our events. It is always a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make it happen, so it is hugely rewarding when we get such a great array of cars and people bringing a lovely atmosphere to the shows.
We're aware that times are tight for a lot of folk and car shows are likely the last thing on your mind at this point in the year. So we doubly appreciate people purchasing pre sale tickets. We're also currently working with our ticket provider to offer a way to spread the costs and will give an update if/when we have that in place.
For now, we are working on making the forthcoming year the best shows we've ever done. From some sweeping changes to Weekender, to the thousand and one tweaks for Gathering, we've got high hopes that the two 2023 events will be the new benchmark for awesome events.
