Love the engineering that goes into stuff like that, beyond my comprehension of how you'd figure the design out but I can appreciate the beauty of it far more than any painting. A proper work of art

Had a busy time with other lobs lately, ones that pay me!! Anyway, managed to steal a couple of days, to start work on the rear subframe. The first bit took some time, lots of measuring, checking etc. I did the wishbone brackets on the bench, along with the gearbox mounts. Its a lot easier, than lining up a 65kg gearbox on the floor!! Anyway, the first bit is done, just building it all up now. A big thanks to Pim, who is known on here, and given me some important dimensions. Very helpful, as Im building mine from scratch, without a JIG.

next stage is to fabricate the suspension brackets, although I think ill get the rear bulkhead area tidied up and plated. that should be fun!! All the parts are now here for the rear suspension, apart from the coil overs, but they are a quick turnaround, so that's not a problem.
