Fulvia engine story in Auto Italia

Before you all berate my incompetence in public, let me admit total liability for not mentioning the first Fulvia engine capacity of 1091cc and implying that the first cars were of 1231cc. I did however allude to the 1091cc cars' power outputs and that engine capacity was in my head. It just somehow didn't make it to the computer screen owing to temporary brain fade on my part. Thanks to Brian Hilton for pointing out the omission. I'm very embarrassed and I certainly didn't intend to ignore the early Berlinas!

Neil, thank you for your kind words. As for 600 Fanalones, no doubt more than 600 have been made by now even if they didn't necessarily emerge from the factory... I was talking to Tim Dutton a while ago, he of Bugatti restoration fame, and he said, 'There are almost certainly more Type 35s now than there ever were at the time. Most of them are probably ours.'

There's one for the originality police to ponder.
