no not a piece of seedy autoerotica, just a realisation that I came to today, having taken the Fulvia along to a school fete.  I was there with my veg van and was asked to take my car to be part of a classic car display.  Lo and behold, there were 3 cars in total, my 2C, a Vauxhall Firenza with a 5.7L Ford V8 engine and a 'rat-look', matt black VW hot rod.  I had a good look around the Firenza, and was amazed by how crude the big iron lump looked, crude, even industrial - particularly when compared with the Fulvia's delicate, 1960s masterpiece.  On the way home I had the windows down and enjoyed the sound of the V4 thrumming along at 60mph.

The Firenza won the 'car of the day' trophy, but I didn't want the rather garish trophy anyway!

I luv mine too..... Cheesy
Just driven from Cornwall to Wiltshire on Friday night, on to Goodwood  (in A Golf) and then back to Cornwall this morning, just under 400miles total, 4000 rpm (75-80? mph) all the way, with a few quick blasts included, about 50lts of fuel, not too bad.
No radio, just the engine and a bit of wind noise! (must get that window fixed!) Roll Eyes

let's not forget this title could be equally at place many of the other model sections. Its suprising how different the aprilia feels though.Equally sporting feel I have to say but very different.
