Does anyone have notes on how to strip out to replace 3rd gear set.

how do the top & lay shafts come out are they pressed in as having removed everything that can be seen there is no movement.

The gearbox bearings of the Augusta have a groove around the the outer race and are located axially by a peg which screws in through the side of the casing. A bit of heat from a hot air paint stripping gun also helps. I've no idea whether the Lambda is the same?
Hope this helps.
