I've just been browsing the website of 'Rosso Corsa Italia'. Their Delivery Charge to the UK is now €100, the same as delivery to Australia!
Clearly they don't need the business of those outside of Europe. Delivery to France is just €16.39!

Can we forget the political comments on here please, they're not necessary and have been aired before..

Yes Brian I agree about it being a political comment, but in these times of increasing costs, prices and recently horrific delivery charges due to Brexit, it is worth highlighting to those unaware of rises as we don't all buy regularly from the EU, plus it will put off many owners ( indeed potential restoration projects) from buying parts from the usual sources in the EU.

Fortunately my son works in Ireland so I can get parcels delivered into EU and he can then hand deliver to me. Might be a worthwhile side line to redirect deliveries into the UK!

Pieces Fulvia charge 24 Euro and their stuff usually gets to me by DHL within 5 working days. Historic Racing Works Germany, 35 euro.

i know a couple of Italian car parts traders who refuse to ship to the UK post Brexit due to paperwork involved &  cost. Very sad but nevertheless true.

PS the opposite also applies - I have UK based businesses who won't/can't supply me anymore, so I have become much more Europe centred and Euro-sourcing

If I can draw members attention to rule number 3, in my capacity as an administrator/moderator, I can understand members frustrations and difficulties in dealing with the fall out of the 2016 referendum, not a lot we can do  about it as a motoring club, just grin and bear it!

Forum terms conditions for usage

Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Threads or posts that the moderators find unacceptable will be removed if they so choose. This can include threads related to: street racing, pornography or nudity, political debates, illegal drugs, violence towards others, and any thread complaining about a member, the forum or other forums. Take that up with the respective party. If the forum moderators are informed of a post which may be deemed illegal or defamatory, the moderators reserve the right to review the post. This will not be aimed at dispute resolution or mediation. That is beyond the reasonable scope of a car forum. We will attempt to put parties in touch to resolve their issues and establish whether they are happy for the thread to continue as long as it is polite and reasonable. If the thread degrades, we will take appropriate action. That may include removing the threads or posts involved. Even worse, my favourite Italian coffee supplier, Musetti, will no longer ship to the UK. Used to buy their 250g 'bricks' at under 3 Euro each, buying a box of 18 at a time.
