Vespa stockists but be sure to get the broader band
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

What a brilliant reply. Can't see any on the various websites though. It is 'the sardine tin' screw type which I would like.

We used to use them when I was an apprentice with God's Poor Orphans that became Post Office Telecommunications that became British Telecom that seems to have vanished. They were used to clamp cable joint enclosures up so water couldn't get in. It still did.

'Cotterpin' improves the Internet search. AlfaStop in the UK have them listed.

 Thanks Tim

  Otherwise a GPO surplus sale,

The keyword you need is 'Fascetta coppiglia' and use Google.it / ebay.it / amazon.it

e.g. https://www.amazon.it/Fascetta-nastro-metallico-coppiglia-9x600/dp/B07YZQLGFN

But actually what you should do is ask me, as I bought a lifetime supply of these (100 clips and rolls of metal tape, 2 different widths) some while ago and can probably send you what you need. Let me know the width required and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks William,  9mm width seems to be a popular band  size. Which sizes do you have? I would like to replace all of the hose clips in my Flaminia engine bay so 4 for the radiator hoses and 10? for servo / fuel/ heater hoses. Presumably the mechanisms are reusable and the band material is one use only? By the way have you used these with success? I will email my postal address to you if that is OK and please let me reimburse your expenses.

I have 6mm and 9mm width metal tape and the clamps/pins for these (the brand which I think was the standard supplier to the Italian car industry in the 50s, though I could be wrong about that is Norma - Normafix Normetta).

A bit of practice is needed to install, and the photo below and this discussion on the Alfa BB (https://www.alfabb.com/threads/copiglia-hose-clamps-any-tips.418545/) are both helpful.

Photo also included of my lifetime supply of 9mm tape and clamps. They were so expensive singly that I bought 100 of each size... that was 6 years ago and I have probably used 12 of the 200.

For information - I bought my NORMA NORMETTA  hose clamps from www.iq-parts-shop.com in the Netherlands in 2018. The cost then for 100 x 5mm and 100 x 9mm clamps, 25m of 9mm band and 20m of 5m band was 75 Euros including shipping. Their prices today are not dramatically increased, but of course there's the risk of inport tax on top of the purchase and shipping.

 Wonderful . Thanks William.
Are the smaller 6mm bands recommended for 5/16 fuel hose? I can't say I remember seeing these fitted to a Flaminia. Reminders welcome though if anyone has a photo.
