Please can anyone tell me what flares are used on S2 brake lines. Are they SAE or DIN?

I’ve tried hard to find out, and although I know the difference between the two types, I would like to know what mine are without having to dismantling a connection and then having to bleed the system.

My Beta had SAE so had assumed these older European cars used that and that DIN came in at a meter time as standard?

Thanks, I understand that a DIN fitting will seal an SAE flare well enough (but not the other way around) and would prefer to use the correct one if I can find out for certain which it is.
