Flavia Stainless Steel Bumpers From Group Harrington
« on: 05 September, 2024, 04:22:48 PM »
Hi
Has anyone bought any stainless steel bumpers from Group Harrington?
Or maybe know of a non Lancia owner who bought them.
If so, what were they like (quality, fit, etc).
They require various measurements from the existing car to get the right fit which seems sensible bearing in mind many models are effectively hand built.
Bearing in mind the wait list and price at chroming companies, repairing & re-chroming the old steel one (to go rusty again) the price (one bumper can be bought) it seems good to me @ £869 including tax, shipping, etc.

Hi,

I bought a pair of bumpers from Harringtons for my ‘63’ Flavia Coupe back in 2016.  I’m very satisfied with the quality of the product.  The fit is very good. The rear is a little more tricky to fit than the front, but on the whole not too bad, just a bit more patience required.
Thing to remember, stainless steel is never quite as bright as chrome and it does scratch very easily.  It’s not cheap, but in the long run, I think a better option than having the old ones rechromed.  I actually only needed the front but managed to sell the rear, which recouped some of the cost.

Good luck,  Peter
