Spark plug choices............... ALL SORTED NOW. THANK YOU.
« on: 14 November, 2024, 12:21:34 PM »
Hello all.

Just wondering what the spark plug of choice is for the early Aprilia's.

Do any seem to work better than others at all ?

Thanks.

Thank you.

My car has been off the road since 1965 ( ish ). It has Champion H10 plugs in it. Until I get a maunal, I have no idea whether they are correct or not.

Thanks again.

If you read French, there is a very useful "workshop manual" written for the Ardennes in 1947

You can find them easily on "Le Bon Coin" if you have friends over here. If not I can post one (I have several copies !!) when I go back to the UK for Christmas

I use NGK's as well

I have a copy of the 1938 'The Motor Trader ' article servicing the Lancia Aprilia that says Champion J8. The Alperton handbook lists MABO W 175 T3 plugs. I would stick with NGK, they work!
The LMC library has a copy of this and many more articles, it would be worth asking the Librarian for a list.

Thank you Sliding Pillar, I didn't know that library service was available. I'll have a look. And it seems that NGK are the way to go.

Thanks again.
