Lancia Thesis Suspension
« on: 06 March, 2025, 03:58:30 PM »
Good Afternoon,

New LMC member.. Just brought my Lancia Thesis to the UK

The roads are certainly not great and i'm noticing how stiff my suspension is, feeling every single bump in the road. Only when on a smooth bit of motorway does it drive well

Having browsed the web i believe it relates to the sensors on the skyhook system

Could anyone recommend a specialist / or garage (if close to London certainly preferred) who could take a look?

Many thanks in advance

Daan

Fabulous car!
In which region?
Fulvia s1, Thema 8.32 and a Citroen 2cv for diversity :-)

You could try Proietti, near Kings Cross, they may not have had much experience of Thesis (who does?), but they are very good at things technical. https://www.proietti.co.uk/

You could try Bill McGrath or another Maserati specialist, it's a very similar system to the 2004-2013 QP.
I found my Thesis back in the day to be a supremely comfortable car in all conditions so it possibly is a tired skyhook issue. Hope you sort it out.

This just popped up on my Facebook - conversion of the Skyhook system to manual operation.
