I had not seen this before, the 1988 Top Gear test of the integrale with Tony Mason and Russell Brookes at the wheel complete with pudding basin haircut and shirt and tie. It's like Alan Partridge..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfRGO7rhuj4

Old Hairpin at Donington too. I remember at the time Willie Green owned the first one I ever saw in Derby, was often outside his workshop. Good find.

Excellent find....Top Gear from the days when the programme was a proper and informative car show, unlike the current format!

Well spotted Andy!
I remember those Top Gear days too but didn't remember that test. William Woollard also used to host 'Rally Report' which covered the RAC Rally , the opening music was great and I used to enjoy the live coverage of the 'Mickey Mouse' stately home stages. A bit different to today's WRC.
With regards to E732 DAP it was obviously one of the press cars as it appears in several period road tests including a head to head with a £90 K Testarossa! I spotted it in the 'Gold Portfolio' book on the Delta along with E731 DAP, both were listed as bright (Rosso Monza?) red.

The vehicle check site is a good site. Interestingly, it lists my first car, which I scrapped in 1998!

Yep, you have to pay the money to find out the history of the car.
If it still lists your original car I guess it just means the number hasn't been reallocated to anything else.
Unless it could be classed as a "cherished" number I don't suppose it would be.
